Dr. Gun Young Ahn

Founder, Inventor & Chief Medical Director

Dr. Gun-Young Ahn is a board-certified dermatologist and the creator of AGNES, a breakthrough radiofrequency device originally developed to provide a permanent solution for acne. With over 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Ahn is recognized globally for his innovation in aesthetic dermatology. He is the founder of the Gowoonsesang Dermatology Clinic network in South Korea—known internationally under the brand "Dr.G"—and serves as an adjunct professor at Chung-Ang University Medical College in Seoul. A passionate researcher and educator, Dr. Ahn has published extensively on treatments for acne, periorbital rejuvenation, and benign skin lesions like syringoma. His invention, AGNES, delivers targeted RF energy through insulated polygonal microblades to safely and precisely treat a range of aesthetic concerns with minimal downtime. Widely respected for his contributions to non-surgical facial sculpting and skin refinement, Dr. Ahn continues to advance the field through ongoing research and hands-on training around the world.
